The Xperia GX was previously using the codename ‘Mint’.
The Sony LT29i ‘Hayabusa’ will be the same as the Xperia GX without LTE functionality

This is what i understood
Xperia GX/MINT [LTE] = Hayabusa/LT29i [Non LTE] Identical form factor, identical specs (more or less)

if this is all true then i don't have to wait until the fall! I'll take the LTE... but didn't we hear that MINT would have an aluminum body?
So, which is it? GX = Hayabusa or Mint? I'm so confused.
If Hayabusa and Mint are the same in specs and form factor, then what justifies the apparent price difference in the leaked roadmap?
I am really confused.

i guess what i'm confused about is ... what's gonna have the OLED screen and aluminum body then?
I'd like more information the GX too. For example, does it have the 2nd generation EXMOR sensor?

The rest of the specs include 16GB of internal memory, 1700mAh battery, Android ICS out of the box, and LTE connectivity radio, allowing up to 75Mbps download speeds, if the network can deliver that, of course. At 5.16 x 2.72 x 0.4" (131 x 69 x 10.5 mm) or 0.34" (8.6mm) at its thinnest, and 4.48oz (127 g) of weight it will also be one of the smaller big-screen phones on the market, and rumors are the battery is replaceable. The phone will be available in black and white, as you can see from the pics below. Best of all - no front buttons, just pure unadulterated ICS on-screen navigational joy.

1700mah is kind of weak for an LTE phone. any decent amount of time on LTE will suck that dry easily...
I hope they boost the battery capacity before official release.
also, from the phonearena link, it seems to have the 2nd generation EXMOR sensor? unless the stacked feature is software only. Also, phonearena is claiming the GX = Hayabusa... confusion again...

100% agree with you. 1700mAh is puny for 2012 when other come with bigger capacity. |

from what I have been informed the international version will be thinner due to not having infrared,tv tuner and lte and will also have a larger battery non removable.
oh and it will also have a removable sd card.
