Aargh! Why do the Walkman phones have to be low-end?
I have the Live and i was hoping for a good mid-range successor [maybe like Xperia P specs].
I need a phone with stereo speakers! Guess I'll be going for an Xperia this year then....

An AnTuTo of 6647 for LT29i seems in line with a regular 1.5GHz dual-S4, not the Pro. Here are some comparisons

SGS2: 5800-6000
Galaxy Nexus: 6100
HTC One X : 10300+
HTC One S: 6600-7000

AnTuTu scales very well with the number of cores, maybe better than most apps will do. We all know benchmarks doesn't tell the full story, but the LT29i will not be a top-performer with that score, after the SGS3 comes out in a few weeks and HOX already out.

Results looks like S3 on SXS.
It has the same 6500+ in AnTuTu. I think it just very early bild of LT29

AFAIK the S4 Pro only have faster GPU the rest are the same, so any increase in AnTuTo marks will be in GPU side only..

Another thing I already said before, Hayabusa will use regular S4 (non-pro) as the Pro chip will be seen in products later in the 2nd half...
The most concrete rumour says that both Hayabusa and Mint will use the same S4 (non-pro) chip, and if Sony decided to use the Pro it will be for Mint only, Hayabusa is too early for the Pro chip...

Sony ST23i Tapioca DS

The Sony ST23i has made an appearance on the GL Benchmark website. The Sony ST23i handset is likely to be the sibling to the Sony ST21i Tapioca, which could support dual-sims hence the ‘Tapioca DS’ nickname given in a previous leak.

SONY WT23i Walkman

The Sony WT23i Walkman has made a first appearance in the AnTuTu benchmark and this will be another low-end handset. The benchmark shows it will have an 800MHz processor, much like the ST21i and ST23i and a display with 320 x 480 resolution. It is likely to be using the Qualcomm MSM7227A chipset. These handsets will probably be targeted to emerging markets.

These phones are such a bad idea. They should have made follow ups to the minis instead with u8500. Or they could just have kept the minis they have now, they are much better phones than this. They are ugly too

Some interesting benchmarks of dual S4 vs Tegra 3. They tested the US HTC One X with LTE (using S4 8960 28nm) vs the international HTC One X (with Tegra 3).

In some previous benchmarks the S4 stacked up pretty well against the Tegra 3, but not here:

I'm not sure if your comment is in reference to my previous post re benchmarks. There isn't any HTC One S involved at all, the tests are between two HTC One X versions: 1) US and 2) international. They both have the same 720p display.

The previous benchmarks of the S4 against the Tegra 3 is the One S vs. the One X right?

Phones uses a lower resolution will have a higher benchmark score. So why is the US One X's (the one in your link) benchmark score is lower the the One S? Because of the difference in the screen resolution.

hey does anyone know if there are gonna be any mid-high spec smaller phones coming from Sony....less that 4.0inch screen....but nothing rubbish like the ST21i, ST23i or WT23i (cant believe sony even thinking of those phones...their specs are worse than last years phones...they might as well have kept last years phones and just made them cheaper)

I don't care about these results, because will be probably getting SGS3, if it turns out to be 20% faster than Tegra 3 Htc one X. If not, then I will wait for Hayabusa. Don't look at Tegra 3 results as a general performance of quad core A9, because it has got a mojor bottleneck with its single chanel memory. That's why the results are not so good. Also a lot of SW has not yet been optimized for 4 cores. Also Krait architecture is supercharged a9, not a15. Mabe closer To A15, than a9, but not quite there. So for me Exynos 4412 not T3 vs. Krait based One X matters.
