I highly doubt that that patent would go on to be an actual phone, but if it did, it would be pretty awesome!

Its kind of weird that all 2011 xperia's had 1ghz cpu with adreno 205 gpu, yet claimed that they would not run ics , and judging by what people say, its very laggy and not really an update. But then you have this st21i, with ics and even lower spec?

I really hope they sort out the problem with st27i and even support the older phones!

A pretty neat feature if sony nails it. I'd say it quite clever if the thickness is bearable. Anything below 15mm is enough for me.
And this:

Sonys gona rock this year if this is true......

I think this rumor version is different:

Hayabusa:
-----------
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich,
- 4.55 inch HD display
- Dual-core, Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 Pro processor (with Adreno 320 GPU)
- 13MP rear camera with HDR video
- 2,200 mAh battery
- About 7mm thin.
The handset should be announced in June.

Source: Unwired

- October there will be LT30i (Mint)
- quad-core and the first Sony (AUO) production of the OLED

Source: Baidu

If these rumors are true then Sony will really be on a roll! But didn't someone (Rog?) say there will be no quad and no Pro this year ?

Maybe the initial plan was no Quad cores...but Sony realized it'll be left behind in the race. If its true, its good to see them trying to keep up.

What's interesting is how the Mint and the Upcoming HTC fall flagship for Verizon are rumored to have exact same specs ? LOL

S4 Quad core and 5 inch 1080p screen

Something is fishy

Who said anything about a 5 inch screen for the mint?

Going by rumours of an OLED screen, it'll probably be 4.3 inches.

In my opinion Sony are doing this on purpose, I don't know the reason, but they're trying hard to piss us off! How can a extra low-end phone with 2010 processor run Android 4.0 smothly and our 2011 Xperias with better specifications can't???
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand...

If Hayabusa was 7mm with that battery I guess it will use the OLED and the screen will be smaller... as if Hayabusa will have 4.55 how big Mint will have ? and Mint is meant to be the high-end...

for me I guess Hayabusa will have the 4.3 incher and Mint might have the bigger 4.55...

about the MSM8960 Pro, the probability of Mint having the Pro is higher than Hayabusa, as Qualcomm said that products using the new Pro chip should arrive in second half of 2012, and Hayabusa will be in June/July time frame which is very early 2nd half... while Mint is September/October which is more acceptable time for MSM 8960 Pro... thought some source's said that both Hayabusa and Mint will use the same MSM8960 (non-pro)... but who knows what Sony will do to make Mint different than Hayabusa
