@aamwng can you elaborate? Ion is US (AT&T) only. Does Taiwan even use the same LTE bands as AT&T?

XperiaBlog probably misunderstood or something, Ion is not launching on 26th in Taiwan. Sony Mobile will be holding a press conference regarding the Ion on 26th and it will be on sale in Taiwan in FUTURE. |

^^ MAY 2
"The invitation teases that attendees will "find out what's new and next with Xperia gaming."
"At the event will be not only Sony, but also competitive gaming organization Major League Gaming and leading mobile gaming publisher Gameloft."
"The invitation features a picture of the Xperia Play, an interesting decision given the lackluster performance of the device"

It sounds promising but I'm not holding y breath. I feel I've been stung with this gag before and it might be a service announcement or a gaming partnership announcement.

True. I doubt any phone will be announced. Especially not "Play 2". There is no Xperia Play successor planned for this year AFAIK.
On topic, unknown13x posted on XDA that the Hayabusa will have a bigger screen than the S, so I guess it won't be 4.3 inches.

If I were you I would not trust unknown13x. Before the XS came out he was was posting that the Hayabuse will have the same S3 chip-set as the XS but at the end he was wrong. He is no longer a Sony-Ericsson employee and has second hand info. |

@Dacha
Contrary to what you say, unknown13x has usually been a very credible source of information. He had maintained that the S3 will be used on the S. And his information on the software updates, and supposed new launches has been more correct than wrong. Sometimes there are last minute changes which take time to leak out through to unofficial sources, which may have been the reason he's been off a few times. But more often than not, he is credible.
Anyway, according to him, bothered the Hayabusa and mint will sport the S4. So there goes my hope of seeing the S4 pro powering the Mint. I'm eagerly waiting to see what Hayabusa brings to the table. And how will Sony deal with Mint.

Antutu benchmarks for s3 has been leaked. To sum it up, its the most powerful android. I really hope Sony doesnt use imagination only to counter it, but more than that.
