a simple way to reset the p910i is to keep finger on on button (when switched of) for at least 10 seconds... hope this helps |

a newbie here. i have P910i for more than a year now and have been happy with it since day 1, upgraded from P800. My dilemma was with my SMS inbox. There are always two entries, one in phone memory and one in SIM. My wife is using P900 and she has only one entry for her SMS messages. I can't find any setting to have my unit behave as my wife's. Your inputs are greatly appreciated.

ok trouble trouble. birthdays & reminders on P990i. i know that when i add a birthday to a contact and save i get to choose if i want to set a reminder in calendar. hell yea i want to do that! is there no way to make this automatic? i mean i have all my contact information on my mac address book and sent them to :es: but the birtydays don't show up in the calendar (although they do show up in contact information) if i dont manually set them one by one in contacts! no way i'm going to do that for 200 contacts :(

Anyone have problem setting up personal ringtone on p990? everytime I set it, it works for a day or 2, then it goes back to the default ringtone. Rang SE the other day and they advised me to send it back. This is my second replacement, I thought I couldn't be that bad luck to have 2 faulty phone. surely, there's a solution, pls HELP. or may be 3rd time lucky! |

The only reason i could think of for your problem is that you store your ringtone in your memorystick and at some point while connected under 'file transer' mode (which disables memorystick functionality), the phone rings therefore it uses the default ringtone instead of the ringtone you have in your ms. It happened to me and it bugged the hell out of me, but after that I realized it was just me uninformed. But if it doesn't revert to the ringtone you set after you disconnect from 'file transfer' then perhaps it's a bug where it detects the default ringtone and sticks to it. Hope I'm not just shooting blanks here. If it's a bug, I strongly suggest a firmware upgrade or a reflash if you have the latest firmware, it would definitely get rid of this particular problem you have, the latest firmware is out today! |

when i disconnect p990i from my pc in phone mode or file transfer mode , my pc restarts !!!
i reinstalled pc suit with latest ver, update firmware but problem remains
is there any solution ??
