They wud never send you a new one, the terms n conditions always say this. But we never read them n ignore. They will only get it repaired n send you the same, though well repaired. Have faith

I don't expect a new one, but I hope so.
As long as they fix it I'm satisfied.
Come on Nokia, Hurry!

Of course, repaired would be OK, but Nokia also quite often sends a new phone, when repair is difficult or expensive. Just recently, a friend got a brandnew N9 in return for his N900 with broken USB.
But Nokia NL won't decide about that, the phone has to be shipped to the HQ in Finland, so, as Marly already stated, it'll take a few weeks.
Live and let live, how hard can it be ?

If this is so, then all the best to you Hans.
May you get the new one......

It's the silence that's killing. How long will it take?
This C905 was back to twice. Both times it returned in two weeks. My MH100 was not even fixed but replaced immediatly (4 days)

I have the worst experience with Nokia repair. I remember my Nokia N81 going in for a flex cable repair, it went for a month, came back and the douche who did the repair had broken the keylock switch, took it back, was gone for another month, and then it came back fully repaired.
Hopefully they cleaned up their act since then.
Hans, have you phoned them to find out whats going on? Its not fair that you have to go for this long without your phone, they should just give you a replacement. Maybe they'll give you a Lumia900 if so???

I think people in general have bad experiences with all manufacturers repairs. I doubt Samsung or Sony are any different as I read so many moans about them too. As I said before considering Hans had one of the early batches of Lumia it hasn't done too bad. I still find Nokia more reliable than others

I'll visit the shop to ask about the progress tomorow morning, or tuesday if the are not open.
Being a first batch Lumia has nothing to do with my problem, I think.

Up to four weeks, as local repair services are not allowed to repair Lumias, they have to be sent to Nokia.

It was send further the 4th. I imagine that dynafix only tried to charge and flash it. Nokia will try a new battery or replace it. All other repairs are to expensive. I think.

Yeah, Dynafix aren't allowed to do more than that, your Lumia's fate is now in Nokia's hands

I had the best experience with SE ,WRT my X10. I sent SE SA tweet complaining about my X10's USB port, within two days DHL was at my door step to collect my X10 and take it to the repair center. About a week and a half later having tweeted and emailed me details of the repair ,DHL were back with my phone.
I guess it varies country-to-country as well and who the 3rd party center are.
Havent had to send my Samsung to repair, touchwood, so i havent had experience with them.
