Lumia 800 now also reduced to £149 @ O2-UK. Seems to be dropping in price since Windows 8 announced

This makes it impossible for me to sell mine and raise funds for a WP8 device.
Nevermind, 7.8 will be almost the same.

@Hans:
It's not so bad here in NL, the Lumia 800 is still more expensive here and they're not selling it with prepaid.
Still, price-drops after the successor has been announced are normal, good, when you want to buy the "old" model, but not so when you're planning to sell.

Might be worth checking now how much you can get for it.

I'm not really planning to sell and I know that value goes down quick. One reason why I buy phones at first release is that they are still pretty update after 2 years.

True. People in forums focus on the newest and latest, but the normal, daily things most people use their smartphones for, can easily be done with a two year old phone.
My husband still uses our 2 year old Nokia N900 with his second number, mainly for its keyboard, but of course that phone is in a different league and always has been.

How did that happen? Overcharging?

I played a game untill the battery was completely drained. I did that before and there was no problem. This time Lumia decided to stay asleep. The only reaction it gave was 1 vibrate while doing the 'battery-pull' trick, only when connected to the charger. It's still under warrenty. No problem there.
