Yup... mediocre at best... I believe the DROID3 uses the same sensor as the DROID X2 because that one is just as bad... I just didn't want to say it! lol

and thats 8mp!!! ... look at the same pictures I took with my Sony Play when it came out (5mp)... just goes to show that mp don't mean everyting.

All shots look ok ish except the first one. The first one is horrible with a purple tinge Nice phone though

I too agree to this..the photos are not that good....the pictures are just fine,not good!The Droid 3 camera is quite disappointing in many important features....Though its 8mp.Bunch of people are complaining about the picture quality and the image resolution when viewing on a computer....

Yeah those shots are horrible, kind of remind me when I accidentally turned on incandescent mode on my arc by mistake... a long shot but maybe this could be the case?

Nope... left it on "Auto" like I do with all test shots.

I have since not only gotten rid of that phone... but also dropped Verizon service... not nearly as good here in the USA and nothing they have can compare to my N8. Not to mention I only have one cellphone bill now. [addsig]
