Other than that it's ok.

Yeah, the browser itself is AWESOME, but it is really lacking feature- wise. How the heck do I remove bookmarks, for example? I think it should at least provide the same fuctionality set as the built-in browser.

Hi, I downloaded it from ericsson. On my P800 it does not work, the pages are not displayed, however the internal browser displays it correctly. Any ideas? Sintax

@mattiasj

To remove a bookmark in Opera, just click on the green flag next to your link description and then click delete.

You are right. That may be the case since it actually isnt a WAP browser and will not display wap pages. You r also unable to save images from the browser:(

Is the in the cradle? If it is it uses your computers internet connection(and the little globe won't show)...

Ahh! Yes it was in the cradle, I had just installed it. Thanks for clearing that up!

Laffen-right You are but only using APN that allows HTML access(i mean full internet) but not trough WAP access point... That's the reason I don't use it. Try to go to www.esato.com-with a builtin browser and using wap access point! The esato.com uses javascript and the built in browser shows it to me! The main reason fr me tha I use wap is a free access to it and gprs internet access is very expensive!Regards! Peter.

Installed Opera this morning and liked it's support for frames etc but after a few minutes of browsing sites it crashed the phone, had to rip out the battery to recover the phone. If it happens again I'm taking it off but for the moment I'm happy with it.

Cheers

I think it's already been discussed here, but if your phone locks up it's always better to perform a soft reset by holding in the power button for 10 seconds than to take out the battery.

I have never experienced any situation where the power button held down for 10 seconds didn't successfully switch off the phone so it could be rebooted.

I did do both a normal power off and the 10 sec press, both worked but when I turned it back on again it was just sitting there with a blank screen. I had to whip out the battery to get it back to life again, maybe it was coincidence but I did try the normal ways four or five times first... I really like the P800 but am worried that buggy software can crash the whole phone.

Hi guys! I installed opera in my p800 and I can't seem to get it working. I can surf using the built-in browser but opera can't connect to the remote server. Does it need any configuring? Please help! Thanks!
