my lovely cool k850i is turning off when i open or close the cover of the battery,im sure that this is obviously hardware,what is the exact hardware problem of my k850i? My little theory is my phone's housing is not properly inserted with the unit,please help me guys

Did you secure the battery with the little orange lock inside?

yes sir,im sure with it,when im trying to slight remove the side near cam button on/off,the side is opening,it means the housing is not properly connected to the unit,help me sir,do you think theres a defect hardware inside?

sorry sir,i cant understand your english,but i guess theres no defect in it,im trying to say that the housing is not tight with the unit,if unit have defect,then what will could be?

Do you still have warrenty?

If not, try to press the housing against eachother near camera button. As there is one lock placed. You must have dropped your phone so that lock has come out.

sir.. the clip side of the phone is not lock.. but i can't open it without using tools for opening my phone.. do you think it can fix if i replace the housing?? but i will buy class a only.. because here in phil. original housing of my unit is very expensive.. thanks anyway sir.. please help me to fix this problem

Before you buy a new housing, try to open it up and put it back together. that might be enough to solve your problem.

Mine does this occasionally, even after I had replaced the cover. It's not really that much of an issue though as the only thing which needs to be taken out is the memory card and even that often requires a reboot before it can be read properly.

Well the only thing I can think of is that, when placing the new cover the battery screws (which hold the phone together were warn from the cheap screwdriver I used, so I decided not to put them in in case I needed to open it in the future. The metal bit is held in by the battery so it is fine, but might not like the fact its not connect fully together and there may be some form of short circuit created when the battery cover is closed. I really think it would be hard otherwise to diagnose the fault location.
