@skblakee, I have no problem with connecting to KIES. Once I'd some issue with my galaxy s, and after searching on net I found that it was not a problem with Kies but with the "fuguroot" that I used to root my sgs. It deleted two necessary files from the inner filesystem which are needed to connect to kies. After extracting those files from the rom (on pc) and restoring them to my sgs, kies began to connect flawlessly.
It could be something wrong on your windows that is casuing the prob. [addsig]

Bugger,cannot believe it's not there yet Sorry I did send it. As for Kies software it's way better than it used to be. I hate itunes it forever crashes. Who says Apple software always works flawlessy?? All i read all the time like all other manufacturers is people complaining about their iphones. It ain't that good

Kies is ok, but it did crapped on me while backing up and updating.

I have never been able to get Kies to work. Not even once.

KIES worked for me first tiime on my pc running Windows 7 and my laptop.Never had any problems.

skblakee So far the battery has been running for 14hrs and its sitting at 61%.Not bad at all.
