congrats for ur mini pro purchase.
@pt020, ur white piece's looking damn cool and sexy.(me also plan to buy in the coming month oct.).
does anyone has the electrostaic noise issue in ur mobile phone, that so many users have all over world. could u plz, confirm did u record any videos in the silent environment and listened to it.
and may i know ur manufacturing date, which u can see under the battery compartment in the phone(not in the battery), it's look like "11Wxx".

The Mini does come with:
- an in-ear headset that has a gold plated connector.
- and an extra cover which is black/blue in colour
in India.

Yaahoooo... They are providing in-ear type of handsfree with mini pro. I have confirmed this at sony ericsson outlet.

u can get white/black set in ebay.in for rs.13,950 with free shipping and if u have discount coupon u r lucky to have a good deal.
and letsbuy.com is selling the balck set with 8gb MSDHC and jabra bluetooth hands-free for rs.15,399. unfortunately discount coupons are not allowed. i think.

thanx for the reply, better record video in silent room then only u can notice the static noise, suppose if ur phone has it.

Ceaser: I got the creepy button type headphones (not in-ear type). You are lucky that, in your country you have all those things. Here in Bangladesh, there isn’t any official SonyEricsson retailer… Few private companies import individually from different countries and sale them here…. Some give service (not parts) warranty by them; some don’t give any warranty…
As I said earlier, mine imported from Indonesia and it is Green-Heart version. Even the word “GreenHeart” embossed on charger.
I’ll post my initial review with some pictures soon.

Yes mine has the very low electrostatic noise. But I think it doesn’t matter to me. I don’t shoot video with my mobile normally and this noise only listenable on a video that shoot in fully silent environment and have to listen that video also in silent room. That sound doesn’t come on earpiece or headphones while in a call.
It is 11W34.

Jd, thanks for the info but i will not buy from internet. No cc or paypal for me. And the phone from net must be without warranty of sony-ericsson, which i dont want to have.

Initial thought about Xperia Mini Pro
# First of all; this is not only a cell phone, it is also a piece of art.
# The build quality is great. The white color with chrome combination is looking excellent.
# Home key is little bid hard to press; it shouldn’t be that much hard.
# The touch sensitivity is too much, maximum time accidentally open apps while you want to navigate the screen left to right or right to left.
# Battery life is great. On first charge it died after only 12 hours. But on second charge it has been running on third day and still left 18% with normal use.
# Due to white back-light color on keyboard and white body color, sometimes signs aren’t visible on keypad.
# Display is vivid and clear but few more pixels should be there. May be my eyes use to with retina display, so I expecting too much.
# The slider when close, it is little bit loose/wobble with a little push. It is not a big deal. As pt020 said, it is bother when you try to press the shutter key. But with slider open, it is just a rock-solid.
# I played 720p MP4 video file. That played as butter smooth on it.
# Call quality is best that I’ve seen only in few mobile phones. It is crystal clear and loud.
# The phone is really compact and small. I have big hands so it is look very tiny on my hand but its grip is fine. Weight is perfect. May be few millimeter less on thickness should be more comfortable… but for slider keyboard we shouldn’t complain on it.
# Haven’t played any music or took pictures so can’t comment on those.

Wow thanks adman and pt020 for the nice little reviews. Nice pics too. I am kinda jealous to you guys specially to pt020 for having liveview as well. Its a perfect combo that he is having- Xperia mini pro, MW600 and liveview.
Jd, is it like the phone made after 34 week have electro-static noise problem resolved??
