What Is The Most You Would Pay For A Phone |

I see that the Samsung Galaxy S2 is coming out with a price range near $1,000  , see here. Now for me that is ridiculous even though I want this to be my next phone.
On the other hand there are those who always want to have the latest and greatest. Also I don't believe that Samsung would price their phones at a range where persons would shun them. So therefore I expect the SGS2 to be bought even at those prices.
My question then, what is the most that you would pay for a phone?

My most would prob be around lets say R2500 thats about 350 usd im very unlucky with phones I tend to break/lose them alot.

I guess most of these newer phones will be sold on contract so that no one will really pay cash up front for many of them.

Same here. My S700 was the most i've spent on a phone (£500). Got it sim free one month before it came out in stores. I'd also bought a K700 and P900 at the same time which were quite a bit (£300 & 480) at the time. Never paid anything higher since and even now I begrudge paying more than 250/300 for a phone.

Most I have paid was £550 for iphone 4 on Orange. Big mistake and not a worthy investment in the end. If funds allowed and with insurance I guess the most I would go is £500 but funds do allow me to do so now but I am not going to anymore. More important things in life now

Most ive ever paid was just over £300+ several yrs ago though

Haha...@s55. Man, that handset sucked. . Trium mars was where it was at...that handset was a real wap workhorse. Great battery too.
