I love how SE are communicating more with users, usually they would have been quiet and given BS statements.

i saw both phone(arc & neo) in hongkong last april 1. For me, arc is more appealing.

I think I'll take this over the Arc and if the $505 price continues it will likely drop below $500 by the time am ready in July!!

Well i took the plunge & ordered a Unlocked sim free Silver Xperia Neo from a reputable seller on ebay, it was in stock & ready for immediate shipping.
Ok yeah it's coming from hong kong but all the sellers feedback say the delivery is quick to the UK so finger crossed I'll get it for middle of next week.
I decided to do this because of all the uncertainty of the release date in the UK , SE-Store was telling me June then Clove announced a couple of days ago that they would be getting it 19th April , now today several websites are stating it's been delayed till June again. |

Sony Ericsson delays Xperia Neo launch to July
Sony Ericsson has delayed the launch of the Xperia Neo smartphone to July as a result of the earthquake in Japan. Just last week we were reporting the launch had been pushed back to the end of April. According to Sony Ericsson Italy, the delay to July has come about given the need to reorganise supply chains to source certain components following the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.
It is not clear whether this is for the Italian market alone or whether the launch has been pushed back globally. However, given the incident in Japan, we would imagine this has affected most regions. This is certainly disappointing news if the global launch has been pushed back, especially since the Xperia Neo looks like a great all rounder. Well bring you more news as we have it.
Update: We have been informed that the Xperia Neo is already out in Hong Kong so this is not a global delay. As soon as we have further information on which regions this affects well let you know.
