Not sure I may have to look at GSM Arena it may say there under the listings of devices. EDIT: It says coming soon I want the black version though cos the colours are a little bit garish For me a Nokia with a massive high res screen,1 gig processor(or dual core),& 1 gig ram with fantastic hardware & software inside is the perfect match. From my experience(but not some early Symbian models) Nokia phones always lasted a long time & were reliable.

Black is the best color on a phone imo

As long as it's not too glossy though Just watching the video of the N9 on GSM Arena & it looks so gorgeous. Something from my experience with Nokia is just like ANY manufacturer. That early software from handsets released is always a bit buggy. Nokia has this problem like any,but they have good support for updates imo & can be done OTA too unlike some.

Symbian Belle video which looks good. It enables the notifications area like Android(I can see Google suing Nokia next)has bigger widgets & shortcuts to move anywhere on screen like you could not do before.

If they do sue, they'll have to sue apple since they're adopting the same drop down notifications area, aswel as Samsung with Bada, which also has the same feature with touchwhiz.

Its basically a good idea everyone has adopted, just like kinetic scrolling and pinch to zoom.

Doubt Google will sue, they don't roll like that, they are too busy taking over the world and building consumer profiles on all of us.

Sad I never tried UIQ.
I like Symbian a fair bit.
As long as the phone is stable.
Nokia has had some terrible quality control on both their phones and PC software.
Nokia still has a particular strength with its qwerty bar Symbian phones (non-touch).
Android is nowhere here.
Last I checked, you can't even send files over bluetooth with Android (without an app, that is).
Also the last I checked, there is no PC Suite equivalent for backing up your data locally (not over the net).

i use kies to backup my apps (and titanium backup) and you can send files.over bluetooth on android, tho i use wifi direct (gs2) as its.much much better than bluetooth and much faster...1.2gig film.took me less.than two minutes to send to another gs2. |
