Elm youtube problem |

Hi All,
I got the ELM J10I2 today and have successfully connect to both my work and home wifi. Everything looks fine, I can browse the net, access my facebook page etc but youtube videos will not start - you app opens and i can select my youtube account but no video will play - all videos just start - i can move time forward to the middle of the video but it will not play.
Any ideas what the problem might be?

Try from browser: m.youtube.com
Or install Opera Mini or Bolt browser and again write: m.youtube.com

neither worked - m.youtube.com just started the defualt youtube app on the phone, and the opera browser wouldn't start the video either - just hung 'buffering' |

I remember having the same problem, I think you can solve it by changing your Internet settings so it will let you stream videos

Do you mean with the router, or with the phone - on the phone i have set the streaming setting to allow local connections - as i have for the internet - it's frustrating, the videos show up, they just don't play! |

Hi! I have the same problem with my Elm. A month ago it was ok, but yesterday I tried to watch youtube again, and it just was buffering and nothing happened. I have not changed any of my internet connection settings since the last time when it worked out ok. I wonder what that error could be?!
On the other board they suggested to remove newer files from Other directory (for someone it worked), but it doesn't work for me.
Please, help, i'm absolutely embarrassed. |
