Then back on topic then. Some photos taken with Arc by user SBSE at our Swedish Android forum http://www.swedroid.se.

Photo taken in darkness with the LED flash as only light source.

A video clip made with Arc by same guy, indoors at evening with normal indoor light.

WOAH! That is some incredible quality pics. I can see the HAIR on the table behind the beer glass; or are those scratches?? Hard to tell with that kind of wood, honest.

Why ? AFAIK this is cheaper than arc...

and I think that most peoples wont even know that the X2 is dual core and can do FullHD ( or will not care about that ) speically when they just see the arc

Because the Optimus 2x pricing makes Arc overpriced for what it offers (except for design of course)

I assume Arc has a notification led (email, SMS, battery) like the X10.

The Arc posses many marketing trumps that the LG phones don't have, these are by in large quite gimmicky but will still be ate up by the public. For example

- Worlds slimmest Smartphone
- Bravia Reality Display
- Exmor R sensor (to a lesser extent)

They all sound fancy and will draw the consumer in. Stating Dual core Snapdragon processor all sounds too technical and actually won't really benefit the end user because most (including me) won't be able to tell the difference on every day tasks, you can only make a phone so fast when browsing menu's etc.

Well heres photos taken by a HTC Desire HD and also theres video in there as well. Hardly looks shit to me

For me...it's far from ARC...and even from X10, it has a lot of artifacts everywhere and less detail too, click to see the image at 100%.

From GSMArena:
there are some visible artifacts resulting from the aggressive sharpening stage (oversharpened noise).

Even without the lens issues, the Desire HD camera wouldn’t rank among the top 8MP Android shooters (or 8MP cameras in general).

Unimpressive HD video

Autofocus works here too, but only before you start shooting – then the focus is locked and won’t change even if you get closer or move back. Still, the Desire HD had no problems focusing at even very close distances.

The reality of image quality however is hardly flattering. The videos are recorded as 3GP files (not the best option) and the results are actually slightly worse than what the Desire Z put up.

There are noise and compression artifacts visible (especially in the sky) and what seems to be the fingerprints of image interpolation. The frame rate wasn’t smooth either – there’s a noticeable stutter.

The reality is much less impressive than the specs look on paper – we were rather disappointed.
