No it doesn't.

People say they use Titanium Backup.
In the settings you also have the option to make a backup on Google.

I wonder also if PC Companion will not provide it as it was on latest upgrade.

I think it is a great phone It`s fast and easy to use. Great for music and browsing and the camera is more than adequate. The screen is very good despite some critics mentioning poor viewing angle. Great batterytime. It is good looking and fits well in the hand. Only thing I wish was different is the sidemounted 3.5 jack

This phone was launched yesterday by Orange Dominicana and it's not that expensive as I'd thought. I'm not getting it either way. I prefer Pro

Music Unlimited by Qriocity has been released now for Android by Sony! For those that use the service, its great to have it now on your phone, pretty much any music, anywhere your phone is now...awesome...I can confirm the app works great on arc! Looks good too. The only downside is the large file size and can't move to sd but a great job nonetheless by Sony.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc has the best battery performance of smartphones android web browsing battery life test

With over 5 hours of use, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc smartphone left the other models Android smartphone competitors, as Samsung Galaxy S II and LG Optimus Black in the dust. The guys from blog.gsmarena posted a comparison that clearly showed that the arc, despite being the thinnest among the competitors, you can browse for more time on the web. There were 5 hours and 25 minutes of direct use and with an incredible economy battery. The other competitor got less than five hours, and using a browser other than the default Android.
The only in front of the Xperia Arc is the Apple iPhone has applications that optimize the useful life of the battery along with the apps, if only because the battery used is virtually identical of others companies with some secrets in manufacturing, of course.
Web browsing battery life test:

Apple iPhone 4 – 7:40 h
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc – 5:25 h
Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II – 4:59 h (Opera Mobile browser)
LG Optimus 2X – 4:54 h
LG Optimus Black – 4:30 h
Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II – 4:22 h (stock browser)
Samsung I9000 Galaxy S – 4:06 h

Browse the web with Xperia arc is very comfortable and simple. Besides the generous size of the screen – 4.2 inches – the technology Sony Bravia Engine ™ Mobile gives a great visual comfort without irritating the LCD very eyes, with exceptional contrast and brightness and color as the viewing of the LCD is amazing and yet saving outdoor light. Can you imagine spending time on the web and with the view rested? just the same Sony Ericsson Xperia with the new LCD display technology to deliver all this.
