Apropos 8260A, it comes with Adreno 225. But according to the NenaMark benchmark test, Nozomi (/Aoba) comes with Adreno 220 .
Where did you see the Nozomi NenaMark result ? |

Nozomi processor is actually Tegra 2, same as Motorola Xoom. Tegra 2 is Nvidia's ARM chip name which uses ARMv7 cores. That's why it shows on the pic that ARMv7. It might not be Krait but it is better than single core processor.
That would be a complete disaster. Tegra2 is 3 years old and currently the worst dualcore out there. Really really hope not. Would much rather have qualcomm s3, it can at least play high profile 1080p
edit. btw, 1.5 ghz clock is to high for tegra2, so we can rule that out. puh

Processor choice is pretty much obvious guys - it may be MSM8260 or MSM8660 cause they are the only two 1,2 - 1,5GHz Qualcomm chips using Adreno 220. Third chip working on that frequency QSD8672 was canceled, MSM8260A is using Adreno 225 GPU and it`s sampled just now (Q4 2011) so there`s no Krait in Nozomi, stop dreaming.

This is what I'm hoping for, and might be wishful thinking, but SE'S top flagships next year will be the LT26i (leaked above) then the Xperia arc HD with specs competing with other 2012 phones like the SGS3 with a quad core processor etc. and finally sony will develop a 16mp Cyber-shot phone with Xenon flash.
Yes probably wishful thinking but that would be awesome and definitely start sony mobile off with a bang.

We can assume that device on this previous leak isn`t Nozomi but Aoba or some other device, 'cause the bulge at the back.

I think that will be Xperia ray2. The bulge will be the camera!

*Marketing-Brain On* Why do you need flash if you have EXMOR R sensor? Makes great pictures in the dark, no neeed for flash! *Marketing-Brain Off*
And regard those cam-pics: waaaaaay too early to judge anything (if they are from Nozomi at all).

AFAIK there is 12 mp EXMOR R sensor. So you mean Nozomi has 16 mp Exmor R |

I'm not sure whether software optimisation is a adequate replacement for a good Xenon flash. I remember some of the macro and xenon flash pictures taken with the K800i years ago and they were amazing.

Hmm so going by the post argiriano made, its going to be the Arc all over again.
1 year behind competition again. This year corrected the mistake they made last year with software but it seems like they did not want to learn a lesson this year. |
