Unfortunately as much as I love my Neo and it takes great pics. I tried a few night shots and they were awful.

Have you tried switching to night mode and placing the phone on a stable surface (a table or anything else)? I've found this very helpful when taking night pics.

They have some great mid range phones coming out this year such as the New Mini and Ray.

I can't help thinking that there will be no Dual Core phone until next year. They really need to get their mid range phones selling.

i dont know about anyone else..
ive been real slow in the brain these days - not the drugs; over time at work is killing me -
but there is already a xperia duo - the new mini pro?
i dont know why they'd call two phones duo...
i have slight twitch that i might not be happy with the duo - but i cant assume..only hoping for a great cam and video recorder (FLASH ME UP! with xenon or plasma!)

That's very disaapointing to here Aurelius. I was expecting the "Arc S" to have more advanced feature: an SE android phone with 1.5ghz dual-core OMAP 4460, Wi-Link 7.0, 1gb RAM, 16gb internal memory, qHD screen, 1800 mah battery, HSPA+ up to 21 mbps, NFC and plasma flash. These features combined with Arc's design and camera are fine with me and what just SE needs right now, not just a minor update of the Arc. Beside, it has just been few months since they released Arc and Arc is not widely available yet. I hope the "Arc S" features are not final.

if xperia arc s is the only smartphone we are gettin this year, and there is no xperia duo, then i believe sony ericsson will most likely change its processor from 1.4ghz to a dual-core 1.2ghz..HP did exactly the same thing with pre 3...Also remember back in november 2010,arc was supposed to have a 800mhz processor, and we ended with a 1ghz processor...lets wait and see....

What on earth should be the reason to release an Arc S with only a slightly improved processor? Have they gone completely nuts over at Sony Ericsson?

I have no idea about the internal structures of a company but to have year after year of wrong and untimely decisions shows a company in decay.

PLs no more bad words about Eldar, after all he seems to have been one of the few with enough insight to foresee the predicament of SE!

Just a thought, if is is an upgrade by merely overclocking, then there might be a chance that it is a software update, which will be availabe to all arc users? Something like X10 -> X10 HD?
