If the duo does have a good camera and a Xenon flash, it will SO be my next phone.

+ it wouldn't be too gentle for our pockets. The arc is quite expensive. The duo would have a horrible price also without xenon flash. And if it's large and heavy, in spite of being slim, than I could nearly take my camera too. I need a phone, which won't get back to the size of earlier models, even if it's a smartphone, I can take it whenever I go and take good pictures with it in any unexpected moment. I would be satisfied with a phone with the sizes, specs and price of the announced xperia mini equipped with a xenon flash (and maximum 8 mp camera). It could have the name mini cam . It would be a bestseller, primarily for people who want a good camera-phone, without compromises of size and price, and the battery life wouldn't be unacceptable low either.

CommunicAsia Singapore June 21-24, 2011

Though it doesn't have a booth at the show, Sony Ericsson is hosting its own event on the second day of CommunicAsia. It appears to be a big one, too, with media from the region invited.

In that pic of the supposed Xperia Duo, what weather widget is being used? Is it available on SE's new crop of Android phones like the arc, neo, pro etc?

Even thought I liked the concept, but I didn't liked the larger screen idea...

Xperia Arc is the largest thing I can ever think about, what made that is the fact the screen is wide ( sorry taller that other 4.2/4.3 screens ) which made the phone not as wide as other phones like HTC/SGS2 4.3"

I didn't hold any 4.3 but I saw several videos and pic comparison and I feel it's big to be used (with peace) with one hand... That's what my concern is not concrete...

Personally, I would like Arc similar design with lower buttons up's a little up than phones bottom edge... no need for the thin backside ( Arc yes but not as thin as this ) so we can add more space for dual core, more memory, larger battery, front facing camera...

and please SE consider MHL link for both USB and HDMI, put the mini HDMI in the left and the microUSB on the bottom...

being both MHL then we can use the mini HDMI on the left side for docking station that can connect and charge in the same time... and having the microUSB + 3.5mm jack on the bottom is better for standard desktop stand that can charge and stream the audio to an external speakers with ease...

I like how ipod touch and iphone has tens and even hundred of docking speakers and monitors... while android has non because there's no standard port that can hold the phone and stream the data/signals...

I believe if Google standardized such a thing it will be awesome !!

Something really big CommunicAsia from personally I don't think so!

I hope will prove me wrong

and not larger than 4.3' screen it won't attract me
to me it will too large over my palm

I preferred 4' at most but Arc's design is exceptional.

Now that SONY and TOSHIBA are working together in display technology we could see much better displays next year to be used in smartphones,TV, etc etc

The funny thing with Sony is that they HAVE oled screens with touch. They probably made them themselves. But thats only for psp vita. Sony, Sony, when are they gonna learn
