@everyone sorry to interrupt your fight and all, but I have a question for mr_lou:
Can you just put the icons in a folder to make these changes? I'm eager to do it myself, tho the fact that I own an A1 phone makes it kinda harder

Erm you started with the attitude, not me. All I'm saying is I don't believe what you say is happening to your phone. Its impossible, end of. You can't seem to grasp this and rather dish out your attitude.

I was being sarcastic

btw could patches be affected by removing the battery, when you take out the sim?

Yes it is very weird indeed.

Also, when I try to apply additional patches now (using SEToolLite) I'm told that some values differ, and I'm asked if I want to continue or not.

Any ideas?

I'm asking politely, and you give me a pointless useless reply like that. In my opinion you started with the attitude right there.

The video I posted shows that what I say is true, whether you believe it or not.

No, the patch is a vkp file, which you can view using a plain text-editor such as Notepad. There are no icon-files. The image-data is in the vkp file.

Patching can't be done on all phones since it requires that someone actually made some patches for that phone + the firmware you're running.
For example, I have a K610 which could be fun to patch also, but there just aren't any patches available for K610, except a few for another firmware. One solution to this is to flash it to become a W660, and then you have lots of patches available.

What model is it?

Ah yes, the rather predictable traditional scenario, when coming from a 13-year-old kid who can't come up with valid defense for his claims; the classic kiddie smartass reply again. But from a moderator? I find it difficult to understand how you ever became moderator, because either you clearly aren't qualified for the task with an attitude like that, or else the standard of Esato Forum moderators has simply dropped to a level too low for my taste.

I wonder which one it is. I guess I'll find out soon.

Lol not only are you dumb, but you can't read either. Who said I moderate here? Read!

If I was a moderator here I would have closed this ridiculous topic ages ago.

You're apparently super moderator at another forum, which is puzzling in itself. Sorry for assuming you also were an Esato moderator.
I'm closing this thread now, since you seem determined spoiling it, and this can go on forever. Job well done Boysie. Be proud of yourself.

No problem, any time.

Btw, your video proves nothing only the fact you don't understand the basic principles of patching the firmware. I'll say again: Its impossible that changing sim cards can change your battery icons. Simple. Please try and understand this. I'm not trying to belittle you in any way but I find you're not trying to understand this but only determined to think you are right. Its not just me here who thinks this.
