Light sensor work nonstop!
In dimly lit room - screen lights is weak (The keyboard lights is 100%).
On lit place - screen lights up maximum (but keypad light no).
Sorry for bad english, I use google translate.

Are you using GPRS, EDGE, or 3G Internet Connection?

In my W995, when I exit Opera Mini, or send an MMS, the icon stays for a short period of time, and disappears afterwards...

Another question, does the internet icon stays green or turns gray?

If you are reffering to the H icon that stays constantly on if you are in HSDPA coverage & will say 3G if in 3G coverage. It's not an internet ON icon just showing when receiving that type of signal. If it's the phones browser you are talking about press options & then press exit browser & the globe icon will go after few seconds

How long have you left it on before switching of the phone?

And is your facebook app not running by any chance?
