Hi, Cell! I´ve got mine from Ponto Frio, for R$ 1350,00.

The 3.5mm jack on my N8 didnt work properly. The headphones fell straight out when i put them in and you had to waggle the connector to get them to connect. I think the damage was caused by my girlfriend dropping the phone the first time she picked it up. I know it fell on a corner but not sure if it was the one with the 3.5mm jack.

Either that or i was unlucky to receive a faulty unit. Im not surprised however, as nearly every time i buy anything from a mobile phone to a tv, a sofa or a washing machine, or even a car, mine always come faulty. Everything i buy i have to send back.

My N8 has been gone 8 days now, called Nokia today and they said they'd not even received it back at their depot in Holland. Its all one big waiting game which is incredibly frustrating when i could just wander into CPW and buy one over the counter. This is the last time i ever buy anything from the official Nokia online store, they're support is terrible when it comes to returns or replacements. If id bought it from CPW i could have exchanged it in one day. Oh well lesson learned !

It is even more impressive when you see the full 12MP image. I did not know how to post that. By default it cut the picture to 64KB or something. My co-workers could not believe it was made with a camera-phone. Some made it as their desktop background.

Heh, its a gorgeous picture but ruined by the photographer.

Look at the ocean horizon, its going downhill. The water's horizon is slanted. Something i never noticed with my own pictures, but then one day i did and ocean shots have annoyed me ever since. I noticed i ALWAYS did it with cameraphones until i learnt how not to.

On the N8, turn on the grid function, then use the lines as a sort of spirit level to make sure your picture is dead level.

ISO 718
1/5 sec shutter

To get this shot with my old C905 i would of had to slow the shutter down to at least a 1 sec, and use a tripod.
With N8... night mode, and just point and shoot
