So I ran the SEUS and it downloaded and installed an update. After it completed, I can't turn on my phone.

Is my phone bricked or something?

try removing for at least 5 seconds and reinsert the battery after updating then turn on the phone, if it does not work try reflashing the firmware again using SEUS, might have encountered a problem during installation of the software, not sure, hasn't happened to me yet

I re-installed the update and I hooked the phone up with the charger, the screen lit up and it's now usable again. I assumed the update drained the phone's battery.

Plus, I did get improved signal strength, it does have a bit of a death grip but it's still a good improvement.

Guys, all i know is that when you flash phones using computer is realy a dangerous one.. But with this problem:
why not just reflash it again?
Its good thing to have a back up phone when reflashing cp using computers..

@gonorrhea

yes there's always a risk when flashing stuff but updating to the latest firmware by is not dangerous and there is less fear of brick because you can always reflash it again using SEUS. (unlike the newer PSPs when update fails it's byebye but that's a different gadget)
