Shame that was discontinued. Has anyone noticed that lately the mega pixel race in camera phones has slowed? No 12 megs popping up anymore from LG or Samsung & so far just one from

It's not really necessarry, to have a 12 MP cam in a phone, though my Satio does take good pics.
The new Nokia N8-00 will have a 12MP cam.

LG never made one yet. Yes Satio is still very good. I know 12 megs is pointless I am happy as far as 8 in a mobile even 5.

5mp seems to be ample on a phone. As long as the optics are good and a decent size sensor, should give good results.

Sometimes 5 mp can beat 8 mp in terms of detail  Ironic but true
