What files do I need to flash the sony k750i? |

Ordered the uc-10 cruiser cable and need to have the proper files for flashing my totally bricked k750i..
Which firmware is best? What other info do I need to determine which set of files i'll need. Do I need to open the phone to get info about it? thanks.. And which free program will work best with this cable? |

The best firmware for this phone is R1CA021. There are free softwares like XS++ 3.1 and it uses either the dcu-60 or 65 cables.

just got the uc-10 cruiser cable today...
now which is the best program for flashing the k750i? Also, how do I determine which set of files I need for my particular k750i? I'm in the U.S., so I need an english set..
Also, I can't connect my phone thru xs++ using the 'hold c' method...its not recognized...the phone is totally bricked and has been for a couple years.... so the battery is probably completely dead.. how will I even connect to ANY program?
please help? thanks..
EDIT: I used SEMC Tool 8.4 "recover certificate" in the flash ARM menu.. and it said it was successful, but I have no idea what this means or what I should do next to proceed with a full flash..

Using setool2lite, I can use the 'identify' function AND the 'unlock/repair' function but the phone still won't power up at all. What else do I need to flash to make it alive again?

Your phone is CID36 so can only be flashed with JDFlasher.

How come only with that? I remember I used to flash my k750 CID36 with far manager 1.70 with the SEFP.

ok I used FAR manager with SEFP because I kept getting errors using JD FLASHER.. I flashed the main, and the other firmware as well with an older fw than rica021 and even tho the flashes thru FAR completed, the phone is still saying rica021 when I connect in setool2.. phone is totally bricked still.. |

After many failed attempts at flashing this phone, I tried omnius and the program actually put life into my k750i when I used the unlock command! I guess this command repaired whatever else my phone needed in order for it to boot.
But now the problem is that the phone is stuck on the 'please wait' screen and I have no idea how to fix it. The phone was converted to cid51 during the unlock process, so how can I flash firmware to match cid51 when there is no firmware for k750i cid51??
Also, the flash option is totally grayed out and un-selectable. What can I do?? Need this phone working!!
