Yea i know. just minor fixes in this update. Let's hope SE starts rollin 2.1 out by end of nov 
btw...tried to run Angry Birds. No luck. You still get a black screen

I don't know the exact 2.1 release date, but 2.1 for X8 has been approved by PTCRB EXACTLY the same day as for X10mini/pro.

If it is approved and ready why not roll it out? |

Guys can someone help?? I have my x8 on O2UK & build number says 1.3.A.0.58 I tried updating via SEUS but it keeps going wrong. When I plug in the phone holding down the back key once I press X8 option,all I get is a funny sound(Windows 7)then the driver for when I plug in the phone when it's off will not install so it will not find the phone  So I cannot update I reinstalled SEUS to no avail. I read here that the newer firmware is 0.62 mine says 0.58 but when I try via PC Companion it says I have latest firmware  Confused

was thinking exactly the same. it is the same as x10 mini and already certified and tested and 2.1 showed on black x8 in the previous post why not roll the update?
may be they want to give x10/mini users a fake premium feel

Yes,I never used to like white phones cos I always thought they looked a bit toy like,but I love them now. The x8 white in the hand is lovely to hold & look at

Well, if the X10's Android 2.1 update is anything to go by, SE will release it on the last possible moment. So if SE says "before the end of the year" it means first markets will get it on December 31st. |
