Anyone have a rooted X8?
I need the file "AudioFilter.csv" in the path system/etc/AudioFilter.csv (use root explorer to copy it in your sdcard)

mine didn't show any updates my firmware is 1.3.a.50 |

Please share if anyone knows possible date for X8 update to 2.1. Everyone is now excited about X10 family update, but there is no info on X8 update. Also there is no info what it will improve. |

as to x8 2.1 update ,according to sony ericsson blog and various se twitter accounts it will be later this year after x10/mini/pro update but no specific date.i think i won't be too late as x8 shares the same software with the x10 mini .the same software version that is certified for x8 is certified for the x10 mini/pro

the x8 was even certified before the x10 mini.even if SE decided not to release this soon the devs at xda will get you this Rom in a matter of days to flash to your x8.
ps: my x8 got an update through seus today .updated from 1.3.a.0.50 to 1.3.a.0.62.i didn't observe any improvements may be i will test the battery to se if there is any improvement.and also the software update in phone told me i have the latest software while seus showed a new update .wndering why?

Same here. The folks at SE should have rolled out the X8 update too, considering its modeled on the same lines as the minis. Why, I even remember them claiming that the X8 would launch with 2.1 but that didn't happen did it?
I just hope the release it in November. I just hope, for god's sake, that " later in Q4" doesn't mean 31st dec 2010 , which was evident in the X10 family's case. So much for 'end of october' 
Btw....is anybody facing the issue of their comments not being published on the product blog? Mine aren't. Perhaps am being a bit too critical

Seems to happen on all  phones this does I find. SEUS is more reliable than OTA(OVER THE AIR)

i think the last update 1.0.a.0.62 has improved the battery considerably ,i can feel it ,no hard numbers thought .i would say 10-20%. |

Updated from 1.3.a.0.50 to 1.3.a.0.62. No noticeable changes. Battery life does seem better. No new apps etc.
Will try Angry birds and get back.
