Bought X10 today on voda from my once again busted Satio...... Anyway my prob is after installing my SIM to the X10 go to my contacts & theres nothing there.... at the top of the screen it says SIM unavailable.
I,ve try syncro from the satio which worked but i cant get PC suite to detect the X10..... anyone else have these sort of probs or ideas to solve

Anybody know how you apply a photo or pic to a contacts name or cant it be done?

ever heard of a manual lol, maybe the easiest things are the best, yes you can add a pic to the contact very easy to do, all the info you need is on the phone.

you have a voda sim for your voda x10? branded and your current sim is another carrier?

No i have a voda SIM from my satio & putting it into the X10, I,ve had to manually type every phone contact in because after changing SIM if was showing no numbers & saying on the contacts screen on the X10 no SIM available.
@ volvoman you can only add a photo taken from the camera, not from older photos that had been added to the SD card, i,ve already found that one out thx for the helpp though.#

You can easily add any picture you like, even older photos added to your sdcard. At least on my phone  |

Yeah i have only custom-made photos, just press the contact>edit>then press the photo icon and choose the top alternative.

Call your carrier for help? Try it in another phone? order a new sim?
@I also have the Phonebook issue "no phone-number sim-card unavailible"
But everything else works so i am good. it have never botherd me, i think i is a option my carriers SIM dont have that's why "my number" does not work.

if you wish to get contacts from SIm to phone do this:
Phonebook > Menu ( button with four squares above it ) > More > Import Contacts > SIM > press same hardware button again ( button with four squares above it ) > Import All. |

Ok now i have another problem i cant send or receive SMS messages & i cant call anyone or receive any calls, wots that all about?

Can you update the firmware on the X10 & would it sort out the softeare issues that are causing these sort of problems?
