@parthabhatta: I'm trying to, but my country doesn't support buing apps on Market yet, so I only have the Demo version, which only has crappy 0,5 mpix in settings. It seems to be a good camera app otherwise!
If you have the .apk (I think that's what the app install file would be called) would you consider sharing it? I don't know if I'm allowed to ask such a thing, if not, Moderator, please remove this post!

Haven't tried this with apps to purchase, but free apps that normaly are not shown through market I have been able to push them to my phone through appbrain instead (you need both the appbrain app and the fast web app). Worth a try.

I have tried Appbrain too, it's all working, sync is good and I've installed other apps that way, but they still redirect to Market. Maybe need to change something in Appbrain to make it think I'm using another phone? I would like to try Camera360, since it's got, among a lot of other things, HDR photo.
It's not even my phone, it's my girlfriends. I have the Satio, hence wanting to improve picture taking...

But have you used Appbrain together with "Fast WEB" to push rather than pull down the apps ? Just read however that "Fast WEB" only works with free apps, so either way you are out of luck unless you want to root your device to gain full access to Market.

So I am pretty upset with my in-call volume and wanted to give the new Samsung Wave a try, I did some test shots with my Sony x10 in May and I just did these shots with Samsung Wave a few days ago.

Sony X10 shot in May 2010

Samsung Wave shot a few days ago in Auto mode, as you can see the contrast level or exposure just cannot compete.

I tried again with EV -0.7, little bit better, but I think if I did EV - 1.5 might get closer to the Sony X10

This last shot was basically taking the internal pre-loaded photo editing program and pressing auto correct Exposure and you get this result

I so need new firmware to fix in call volume and 2.1 upgrade for me to recharge my x10 and use it on a daily basis.

This was a great comparison as I were choosing between the X10 Mini Pro and Samsung Wave for my upgrade. The mini pro was free, had andoid and a querty keypay, the wave was £40, so I picked the mini.

I've actually still been using my K850i as my camera while I were using my LG Arena which was my last upgrade. I didnt like the Arena much, too hard to text on and use. Im sure that the X10 mini pro will be able to fully replace both.

Only settings X10 mini has is shooting modes (auto, night, port and macro). That's it. Nothing more can be changed. The rest is just a matter of having good light, having the sun in the back etc.
