VERY similar to Opera Mini 5, Dont you think?

I beg to disagree. The OM5's UI is eye-candy and user-friendly. BOLT, on the other hand, offers better full page rendering and streaming support.

@Matt OM3.2? I rather pick 4.2 than 3.

@toph
Yeah thanks that's the one, OM 4.2 I think it's nicer to navigate with 4.2 than 5.0 and Bolt 2.1

i agree i have OM 4.2, but with T-Mobile Web'n'Walk logo replaced, and OM 5 and 4.2 is way faster and more user friendly, but OM 5 is nice looking but slow and never works as it claims and should.

i like Bolt page layout better than OM, but sometimes pages wont load in BOLT, and i have to try a few times before it does. and sometimes you cannot back out of a popup without exiting the app..

its kind of buggy like that

From BOLT Browser's official Facebook fan page:
Today we released a new update: version 2.11. This release includes important updates that address server response times which eliminates the problem on some websites that has caused BOLT to hang at 20 percent on the progress bar, as well as improves Twitter use. Although there are no new features in this release, we strongly recommend all users update to this new version for an improved mobile browsing experience.

I think the UI is not user friendly. The browser and UI share the same settings, eg. when you increase the font size, menu font size increases too. It reloads every page after changing a setting. Some links wont respond instantly.

But it loads pages pretty fast and seems to be data efficient too.

BOLT 2.3 now available to OEMs and MNOs
looking to offer sacrifice-free browsing for a rich

SAN FRANCISCO and MARLBOROUGH, Mass.,
Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Bitstream Inc. (Nasdaq:

mobile browser, today announced the release of
BOLT 2.3, with a host of new features to

enhanced inline text editing, cloud-based backup

Ustream.tv to the long international list of popular
Flash video sites supported by BOLT.
"With each new feature, from streaming audio
and video support to cloud-based back-up, BOLT

themselves from competitors and provides

HTML5 and Mobile Browsing on BOLT
Bitstream continues to lead in mobile open
standards compliance by extending BOLT's
support for HTML5, the newest generation of the
HTML language. Already the only WebKit-based
cloud computing browser, BOLT is the first
mobile browser to support HTML5 video and,
with the release of BOLT 2.3, audio streaming.
Some of the largest online content providers and
Web technology companies such as Google and
Apple are embracing the use of the HTML5
standard, eliminating the need for third party add-
ons, plug-ins and separate media players that
have often created obstacles for viewing and
listening to streaming media via the mobile Web.
BOLT's support of HTML5 allows handset
manufacturers and mobile network operators to
offer streaming media on the growing number of
website designed for new mobile computing
platforms such as the Apple iPad and Google
Android tablets on the widest range of mobile
devices.
Most fully featured mobile browser, gets
even better
BOLT has earned a reputation as the most fully
featured mobile browser available, and with the
2.3 release, BOLT boosts its already powerful
mobile browsing capabilities:
Best Streaming Media Support - BOLT 2.3
now supports HTML5 streaming video and audio.
BOLT offers the broadest support for streaming
video in a mobile browser, with support for the
most popular Flash based video sites and all
HTML5 video sites.

* New Advanced Desktop Features - Along
with the ability to perfectly render Web pages as
they were meant to be seen from a PC, BOLT
also offers tabbed browsing, password manager,
advanced downloading and uploading capabilities
and now advanced inline text entry and editing
allowing people to enter and edit text directly in
Web page forms without opening up a separate
text editing window.

* Backed up in the Cloud - BOLT 2.3's new
favorites backup feature stores a user's
bookmarks on BOLT's servers, allowing them to
be restored if a user ever needs to change
phones for any reason.

* New Mobile Widgets - BOLT widgets let
people using any mobile phone take part in the
mobile apps revolution. Bolt 2.3's widget gallery
features weather, Wikipedia, and dictionary
widgets, along with an improved Twitter widget
and a brand new Facebook widget .
