I'm trying to transfer my contacts notes etc from my Satio to my Xperia X10
Can anyone tell me is it possible to use Sony Ericsson PC Suite for this?
Whats the easiest way to do it?
All my contacts and notes are on the 16GB SD card but for some reason just won't simply copy onto the X10.

Ok managed to get all my contacts over by using Sony Ericssons cloud.
It just would not read contacts from the SD card.
Does anyone know where is the notes application within Android/ or do you need to download an application for this?

Hi
How to transfer contacts from iPhone 3GS 32GB to Xperia X10.
But this probably works for all kinds of phones that can sync with outlook.
I exported contacts that I had synchronised with my macbooks Adressbook to a vCard file, then
I imported them to Outlook Express, had to adjust the swedish characters, and then exported all contacts
to a CSV file.
Then I copied the CSV file to the root of the X10 memory card and imported the file
via the Contacts import function on the phone.
244 contact imported OK.
And no need to use google mail, SE Sync or anything else.
But you need to install SE PC companion to access the memory card in the phone.
Hope you find this useful !
Happy now !

I exported contacts from outllok 2007 to computer and then copied to memory card.
(do not know where to copy so just copied to system folder of memory card.)
When trying to import contacts from phone book it says no contacts found on memory card!! |

Okay first things first, there is no such thing as a "java phone" (unless you arer talking blackberry). I presume you mean an SE feature phone, these run A100 or A200, not java. They can run java programs, but then so can any phone on the market. Except iphone. But the OS itself is A200 NOT Java!!
On to your question...
I don't think it's possible, but what you need is a why to export your messages, which I believe is possible with My Phone Explorer, as CSV or TAB delimited text file, then import into the X10 using android software that can import messages from a csv file.
