Thanks. It does macro very well I think. Though it's colours are generally accurate I do find sometimes on some indoor shots colours can seem pale. But most of the time it's fine.

Thanks for the tips, Bonovox. I'm holding it steadier, I think, so it's helping with the blurriness issue a lot!

Anyway, here are some pics I've taken:

My biggest problem is that while none of these are outdoors during the day (with good sunlight), other than the night ones on the bottom, they are taken in rooms with good light mostly during the afternoon (so it's not dark). But most of them would still have those red/blue lines that go across the photo that is kind of annoying, especially when I'm in a brightly lit room. Not sure what I'm doing wrong! For the most part, it's taken on auto (or for the closeups, the macro setting) unless noted.

macro, but there's still a horizontal line through it.

These were taken indoor, afternoon, room light and outside light. This is all right. Colors are not great, but not bad.

The Reds/oranges are much less vibrant, and it's in the same room with the same light as the blue presents. And lines!

This is nice. I think the macro is working out well - but I hope I can take a normal non macro picture too!

Macro setting, nice again, again, only the macro ones are coming up sans lines (well, for the most part, since the first picture had lines and it was a macro).

This photo has the same lighting (same room, same plant, same time) as the two before, but there the lines are there again!

I used both the night landscape setting and the auto setting for these. They're all right. But lines again, even more (but more understandabley so, given well, it's actually dark! )

Is there a way to keep the flash not just on auto, but force it to be on all the time? I wonder if that could get rid of the 'lines' problem. Unless there's a much more obvious solution to this! I guess I'm not understanding why there are lines in the pics where it isn't night time but in a room with good normal lighting. Thanks for looking!

Good shots keep it going Like the dogs paws. I am afraid that's something we have to live with on this phone for now in low light until next firmware hopefully it shall be fixed. Till then as I said turn down exposure slightly in lowlight but indoors is classed as lowlight.Monument is Tony Hancock comedian form the old days who was from Birmingham
