Was: Google Chrome

Am using google Chrome on Vista Premium and its started doing my head in this week.
Everytime I select a website I want to visit, I keep getting a new tab opening with something completly different. sometimes I even get 3 tabs opening.

Anyone advise what the hells' going on
Currently have spybot running to see if that can detect anything .

Try KIS with a full scan on trial, seems to have best detetction at moment.
Otherwise, use FireFox and love the speed difference

Download malwarebytes. Its always fixed these sort of problems for me.

God I hope not, i did that 6 months ago when my pc shut down without warning and wouldnt re=start
I downloaded a free program that detected a trojan but now it want s me to pay for removal,
strange the other 3 progrmaes cant see it.
I now notice that non of my original progs, malware or spybot can access their update manager
something blocking it perhaps ?

I would honestly try Kasperksy, highest detection rate and free removal during trial, nothing to stop you removing it after its finished.

Go to Start > Run > MSCONFIG

Go to the Startup tab, check for anything you know shouldn't be there, in fact everything except your AV. Google everything else that you don't know and judge if you should remove it or not

Now go to the services tab, check "Hide all MS Services" and untick all not important (or foreign to you, again google it first before removing)

Then restart

EDIT: I have also had random FB popping up actually??
Thanks
