Hello clever people,
Has anybody actually re-activated the animations in SMS (EMS capability) in their  phone, whilst retaining the "chat" view? My phone is a debranded Orange C510 (but I gather the "problem" is not unique to this model). When I used the phone with the Orange firmware, I had the ability to add animations to SMS messages as well as use the chat view.
The only info I've found on esato about re-enabling the EMS functionality also mentions losing the chat view(see here)
Somebody in that thread also mentioned using DaVinvi pimp my phone, but I've tried that and it didn't seem to have any effect other than to reset my phone to default settings. I still have the chat view, but creating an SMS and adding an animation still turns it into an MMS. 
It's ironic that debranding has nobbled this feature! When I bought my Vodafone K800i, adding animations under the Vodafone firmware made it into an MMS, once I debranded to the firmware it kept an SMS (EMS) as an SMS.
Please help, I'm missing the animations.
