That grid is the rule of thirds, it's used to help you compose shots.
This video explains what it is and how you use it

I have some questions after reading the readme file in driver:

Must modern .png image put on the original .ic files?

Will shutter speed may be bigger than 1 second (maybe with other driver) ?

Thank you very much

Nope, but the new png files make it easier to see what step you are on since the old doesn't have a grid.

ShutterSpeed. Nope. The phone can't handle a ss of 1/0,something 'cause it will only think of it as 1/0, no speed.
I taking pictures

About Shutter Speed: it means that SS 1 second is the edge of opportunity of the camera in C901?

Yes, we can't have a shutter speed slower than 1 second

It's bad

I also saw in this thread , when video was recorded in VGA resolution by c901. Is that resolution was added in any driver?

It's a shame we can't have 2 second shutter speed but raiders mod can still work miracles, look at my pictures a few pages back and you will see what a difference it can make

VGA video recording was implemented by raiderski but it was never released due to a big reduction in fps and the camera menu being messed up so it wasn't possible to change settings in camera menu.
C901 will always have bad video recording I'm afraid

Thank you=)

I already put the new driver in my c901. And when in the my country will be good weather I will test them

I think C901 record video not very good, but for QVGA resolution the video of c901 record is not very badly
