Fake Phones on eBay? |

Hello all,
I've been looking at phones on ebay and I noticed how there are fake phones for a fraction of the price.
I hear these "replica" phones are just as good quality and often contain extra features and more memory, etc.
Has anybody has experience with these knock-off phones? I've been mainly looking at Nokia 8800 Arte and Moto Aura phones. How bad are they?

They are normally terible. Full of bugs and a half asked os. Best to stay well clear and buy the proper thing. |

Yeah i seen recently in a shop would you believe a replica of the c902 i forget who made it but it was Chinese and it was called the a902

i have seen many of the nokia ones. alot of them are even advertised as 'original' imei and made in finland stickers.
problem is the model am refering to is the carbon and there made in korea. also when you do a imei check it comes up as:

generally the phones look the part, come well presented as original, even work with original parts and chargers. the os on phone is simler, most features are same but not as good.
what you got to remember is that companies like nokia spend millions on R&D to perfect there final product even tho they still always crash and tend to be crap they do put alot into it, as to where these chinese made versions are dont spend didle squat.
overall if you want it to just look the part and make calls and send sms then its good. makes you look flash and smart. however your only fooling yourself!!!
