Is c510 A2 phone? If yes, above mentioned method should work. If not, try searching it here at ESATO.

Hmm this is interesting.
This must be for A2 platform only. DB20xx codes are in the GDFS area.

It does not work! Some hoax etc
Before trying it I looked up the contents of security_domain_settings.xml

I then tried it, it doesn't work.
The only free way on A2 is use Aerix (for CID52) or pay for Ultimate Unlocker logs (for CID53). Other method is to use SETool3 box.

You may be right as i am not the master of codes. But one thing i know that i have reset my K850i code by this method to 0000. By the way, on which phone did you tried?

This so called "trick" does not work on any A2 phone. The only way to reset that code is with paid tools i.e Omnius/D-UU/Davinci etc.

Boysie, i dont know how but it has worked for me.
Dreamguy, have you restarted your phone after deleting that file? If it has worked on my K850i, it should work on yours as well.

Yes may be you are right boysie the topic must be locked or deleted.
I thought i have found a way as I have reseted my phone lock code. But this method has never worked for anyone else. I think i had a sheer luck with that.
