Still considering getting a Satio but all the software problems and them being recalled have worried me.

Also i am concerned about the touchscreen.

I don't want a touchscreen that i have to press down hard on or one that is responsive or needs to be pressed twice to do something, So i need to know what it's really like.

I don't want to pay out £400 for a phone that is going to be a waste of money.

Is the Satio recall real? Or is it just the Aino recall that's fake?
If you're unsure about the state of play with the Satio, give your local SE service centre or distributor a call and ask them.

A 12Mp camera has got to be pretty appealing, but for me I go for the best user experience/OS and let's face it you have 3 to choose from:
-Symbian S60 v5 (Satio)
-Windows Mobile (Xperia X1, X2)
-Android (Xperia X10)
plus there's always the elephant in the room in the form of the iPhone 3Gs.

I would wait for the X10 but it's completely up to you.

So the touchscreen is responsive then? And i won't have to press down hard or keep pressing twice?

Also does the latest firmware sort out most of the software problems?

Definitely a finger print magnet, worse than K850i Id say.
The touch screen looks smudgy and horrible all the time.
I looked at the silver but felt disappointed as I thought it looked cheap.

I have black one and no fingerprints on it. Touchscreen is good responsive. A little bit slow FW, Battery level run pretty fast down if U really use it. And one more thing: If U R using Your phone mosty as a photo phone stay at C905. Modified camdriver at C905 takes better pictures than Satio. This is my opinion.

You think the C905 takes better pictures than the Satio? Really?

I got rid of my old C905, Not sure if i would get another one because it has too many problems with the speakerphone and build quality.

Pics are better than K850i but debatable as to best camera phone right now
seems quite hit and miss.
