i cant believe so many of you are being so negative about this phone!
i for one have been dreaming of this since the days the first PSP came out. i always thought to myself if my PSP had a sim card slot it would be perfect for me and i would carry it everywhere.
after jumping from HTC desire to Motorola Milestone to Samsung Galaxy S, i for one can not wait for a phone with dedicated keys for gaming to come out!!! Touch screen gaming is so horrible when you have to input more than two different controls in a game.
this is a phone which has the potential of knocking something like the iphone of its mobile gaming platform. becuase we all know the iphone will never adopt more than one button on their phones (incase too many buttons confuse their user base) and they'll always stick to touchscreen gaming. which i hate.
i cant wait for this phone! i will be getting it out on day one for sure.
come on guys show some support for

Am also very excited and all this talk about it needing to be more powerful and better hardware etc sucks... I think it will have enough power to perform the tasks its supposed to and I for one don't get a biggie by quoting my mhz speed.... performance without lags and highend enough to last a year is fine. I buy a new phone every couple of months anyway and like previously mentioned I am sure 99% of the users never need more than 50% of the power phones offer nowadays.
I think in 2011 SE will not 'own' the market but being on par spec wise with Samsung and HTC would also nbe a great achievement considering where they have come from the past years.
Here is to hoping for a brighter future after 3 years of dissappointment! Cheers! |

exactly, its got more than enough power to handle games. heck the PSP was at 333MHz. its all about the CPU architecture and how its managed and how software is coded. if done correctly this thing will be a beast! |

I wonder how many Androids we will see from next year. I'm guessing atleast around 6-7 |

SONY ERICSSON should follow there thing to be strong player..
-Release the handset's in less than 3 months.
-Software update so be very very quicker and earlyier than other players.
-Reintroduce WALKMAN + CYBERSHOT for mid and low range.
-Marketing should be much better.
ALL THESE THINGS CAN MAKE SONY ERICSSON BACK IN THE GAME.
........ All these are my thoughts...... |

The best thing about the PSPhone is that even if it is released a year after announcement there is little the public can do coz there wont be any competitors in the meanwhile. So, there wont be any other option than to wait, wait and wait. |

4 corner UI on a device with a 3.7-4.1 inch screen doesn't seem right somehow :|
Or is that an indication that the PSPhone will be a mid end Android?

Ya maybe its only mid range.. Only gaming purpose + 5mp + media.. I guess they wont make this a high end cause this is their 1st try in gaming so.. If this gets very high demand then they mite introduce its successor later next nov |

The PlayStation Phone is still real
learning that its codename is "Zeus," and it was last seen running Android 2.X (not 3.0, which we suspect will be the shipping version)
The alleged Sony response to the device makes that somewhat clear -- reports state that an employee originally told a publication that the images were fake, only to backtrack and deliver the standard corporate line that the company "doesn't respond to rumor and speculation." It's possible that whomever was originally questioned either didn't know of the device's existence, was lying about its existence, or simply had their response taken out of context. And that brings us to our point -- while there will be plenty of speculation on whether or not what we've shown you is real, we would never run the images or the information without a healthy sense that we were bringing you fact, and not fiction
Engadget have basically just rewritten my Esato posts there, haven't they?

You seemed convincing enough to me during your earlier posts.
I am finding it extremely hard to believe other people with 'inside' info but found your info much more credible.
This phone will be good for those that are into mobile gaming. I want to see the X10's successor cause I may just get it is the P1i's real successor isn't showing up.
