We knew that but surely that's not the announcement right?
I want to know what I'm going to get for my upgrade which is due soon, and I'm hoping for a powerful tab device (a new handset I'm not interested in as I love my X10) with SE branding, but something exciting would be nice.
The last big exciting announcement was.... *wrinkles forehead in thought* the X10, let's face it the minis were interesting but not mouth wateringly count-the-days-hours-and-minutes-till-release exciting.
I think it can only be a good thing that there hasn't been an announcement in so long because it must mean they're reducing time between announcements and releases, but we must be due something right?

I'm hoping there is something soon or are we going to have to wait a couple of months till when the X10 was announced last year - November?

2 powerful high end smartphones will be launched soon by  
One will be the successor to Xperia X10 (Android device with 3.0 Gingerbread and 1.2/1.5ghz processor)
and the other one will be the Xperia X2 successor (Windows Phone 7 Device with 1.2ghz Qualcomm processor )
Its good to see keeping their next 2 high end smartphones a secret and it only shows that they have learnt from the mistake with the X2 and the X10 
Both the devices will be out by the end of the year.

Can't tell if this guy is a troll or what. If those phones really are coming, they certainly wont be 'out' by the end of the year, but they may be announced.

Well, avmax, you certainly seem to be sure of this information and it makes sense what you say but I can't see a 1.5GHz processor being released this side of Q2 next year nor Gingerbread for that matter (at least not from ).
I do like the tight lipped thing though. From my memory all the best devices from have been announced when no-one even had it on the rumour radar.

Eldar may be crazy but he is a good source for new mobiles. Besides its only logical SE-wise to upgrade the camera in the successor to x10. Hope they've done something to the optics aswell. |

Oh, I'm sure there will come a 12mpx SE Android Phone, but the question is when. Eldar has just as much been right as wrong, so I don't think he's that good of a source. Remember he kept claiming that the Nexus One rumours were fake? Or that he said that Bada wasn't able to run any native apps?
