^It has the vanilla Android interface and the screen looks like a 4.3" one. I think it is just a photoshop. |

^I guess it is not a bad thing. It keeps some of our hopes alive for another high end phone this year. |

^Does K900 even exist? As far as I know, the K-series have long been gone. |

If I am correct, the July phones should be released this year and the September ones are for next year. I think we will have very few phones released this year. wants to continue on from Pureness so expect something very attractive sometime in the future.
As for Jolie, soon after the release of WP7 you will realise how tight MS are with their OS. It will be a matter of buying the cheapest one since everything will have similar hardware. Its a shite OS which seems to be missing bit and bobs for the sake of making it pretty and fast. I think iPhone and Android will totally eat WP7 alive. Jolie is an X2 which has been forced to beef itself up by MS, at least you are guaranteed that there will be minimal software bugs. A WP7 mobile without a physical qwerty is utter whack if you actually use it for business purposes.
Yea I'm pretty sure WP7 is going to be pretty barebones (compared to other platforms) this Fall/Winter just because its new. Hopefully they are able to quickly ramp up the feature set soon after the initial release.

So, to sum up, we have 4 unannounced handsets:
- Touchscreen, non-smart low-end Walkman.
- Shakira, Xperia handset sized between X10 & X10 mini.
- Qwerty Android with 5" screen.
- Hong, candybar Greenheart handset.
At least 3 of these should be announced soon? I know it is said the qwerty android is only now in testing. Wonder what other cool stuff has up their sleeve....

And I think WM7 can be a real hit once it's polished and will have
increased functionality.
And can beat ugly Android in every regard.
It's of course to be seen and it's also my wishful thinking
but I see WP7 having huge potential.
I wait for that device from SE.
With Symbian I agree - there's nothing interesting to wait for
from this platform.
P.S. Once they made X2 usable
it's lovely platform (WM I mean...)

+1 I hope WP7 will have a native xvid support just like the last version of Zune HD OS. Android is fonctionnal but I agree it's ugly. Developping an UI under Symbian is a waste of time for SE. Symbian has no futur in the smartphone market. |
