OK then what has the iphone got that the X10 has not? Would be interested to know what as an X10 user I am missing out on with the iphone. And I am not just talking about the screen, what actual feature does the iphone have that the X10 does not?

Well, the X10 does not have gyroscope, dual mics with active noise cancellation, environment-friendly casing, Secondary camera for video call and last but not the least, MULTI-TOUCH.

A maker that keeps releasing OS updates for your phone even if your phone is a couple of years old.

@volvomn The IPhone is actually good bang for a buck. Who other manufacturers offer OS upgrades until the hardware no longer support it? I have IPhone 2G that was purchase in 2007 and I am still able to take advantage of the OS features that 3GS has, provided the hardware of the 2G allow them.

I don't think SE thought about the long term effect of not supporting multi-touch and small screens in their Android line up. Soon enough, most of the phone like X10 mini and X10 mini pro will get no support for the newer Android Versions which makes me wonder what does SE have in store for us.

Sony Ericsson's 2nd quarter, 2010 financial results announcement will be made on Friday, July 16 at 07:30 UK time / 08:30 CET, followed by a conference call with analysts and media at 09:00 UK time / 10:00 CET.

Announcement day?

edit.
Oh, it's July, not June...

Guys Apple's iPhone 4 hardware is to die for, thats hardly arguable, especially versus the X10. I'm ready to see what the next SE flagship device is.

Yes, sure, I overlooked that. The real name will be after the tree...

Definitely the right step for SE, they need to move on from Symbian (and drop Windows Mobile like a stone) - Android is the only place that makes sense for them at the moment.

You had my post taken out of context. I was just saying that the Android line up of SE is inconsistent in terms of hardware and the software support. You took only part of what I posted instead of taking it as a whole to support your moronic ideas.

Depends. I agree they should drop Symbian, but for WinMo better wait what 7 has in store Aspen could be nice if priced and positioned well
