I have tried using just "live.vodafone.com" or "live.vodafone.com@" as front queries but both take money.
We have to go through some sort of Proxy server to download at all. That is the problem. At the moment I am experimenting with AED downloader mod by handler and PHP proxy, maybe I can get something working...
@ Excalibur69
I tried, and I failed Not one of those two work, but thanx!

The default vlive proxy is 196.006.128.012 at port 8080. Should I change it to port 80? Or should I use another Proxy server or something. Because if I use live.vodafone.com@ as a front query, as soon as the download starts, it takes away the live.vodafone.com@ part and just downloads the file like it would without the trick.
And if you are talking about the Smokeflower trick, yes I changed my proxy to smokeflower.com and port 80. Then it just says "communication error" when I go to live.vodafone.com/dahr.php.

@goarthur77 - thanks, but somehow my 3G phone is limited to 48kb/s - so its still better to use my PC instead (getting around the same speed for downloads - 45kb/s)
Still looking to make it faster on PC |

Ok I read that whole thing, twice.
I made my proxy 80.239.242.253 and port 80
I downloaded that Opera mini litemint gave and copied all the settings in the screen-shots. Obviously I just changed the "wap.smart.com.ph" free site to "live.vodafone.com". But I can't even open a website now. OM gives the "failed to connect to the internet" error. I then changed the Custom HTTP server back to "live.vodafone.com.server4.operamini.com:80/" which I know works. So then I try to download a MP3 (the link is working, I checked it on my PC). I click "save" like litemint says in his guide, I wait for like 45 secs and then it says: "download complete -song_name- 1Kb" So now that is the same problem which I got a month ago. No matter what I download, it is only 1Kb large.

@sitnet, if you're using ur phone with the "@ trick" you're gonna get maximum speeds.
-
Lets say when you had airtime and you downloaded something, the speed was 50kb/s (and thats the fastest speed ur phone experiences)
Then the "@ trick" give u the same speed for downloading (50kb/s)
So there's no need in hunting for a new trick for mobile
What we really need to find is a method to download faster with our PC's |

| The problem is that my phones max speed is 320kbps. So I can get much better speeds. |

the problem is, that filipino's now are focusing on ip trick, and we already stop seeking on dot trick 'cause its already being block a long time ago by our network, and that is a problem to sitnet because he can only use dot trick. But to cellc network their lucky, 'cause ip trick works. |

Hi. I have noticed something - All these sites:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
foxyn.com/cgi-bin/nph-get.cgi/00011A/http/
anongoogle.com/cgi-bin/nph-get.cgi/000000a/http/

anonyahoo.com/cgi-bin/nph-get.cgi/000000A/http/
anonyahoo.com/cgi-bin/nph-get.cgi/000000A/http/
lelook.com/cgi-bin/nph-get.cgi/000110A/http/
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...have got the same IP Address, and I think they are hosted from the same server - therefore we get identical speeds for all. All these sites are similar - What other sites are out there which uses the cgi-trick and has a different IP address?
IP for those site: 209.139.208.78
P.S. These CGI proxies must work with the DOT trick
(i.e. it should look like this and work -> freesite.anongoogle.com/cgi-bin/nph-get.cgi/000000a/http/url
Thanks

@kawaii - thanks for those, but they don't seem to work with the dot trick! And the ones that load, give me "404 not found", "account suspended" - that type of errors! |

how bout the reverse ip trick? in this case, the server of operamini is the proxy. http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=190007 or try composing two consecutive cgi's, like, anonlove.com.t9space.com/power/lite/http/
