Yes I know it is moer stable, but as I said, I can't download with it all. So it's useless to me.

NOW LETS GET BACK TO THE TOPIC: Fast Cgi/PHP/Glype proxy servers for downloading with "dot" trick.

Hmm, try these php proxies, bravenose.com:80, activetiger.com:80 and clamcoffee.com:80, use it as proxy address on your mobile phones. I think you already know how to reconfigure the web settings.

No I am not sure how to configure my web settings. After setting my phone proxy to one of the proxies you gave me, what should I use as a front query?

@cyborg - thanx a lot man. I'm gonna test all of them and then tell you which of them work.

edit: I have tried all of them, and unfortunately none of them works. Some give the 'communication error' and some say that the page can not be found. The ones like anongoogle still work though, just very slow.

Yep, none of them work.
Anongoogle, foxyn, and scarewar all work fine - strangely all work at the same speed (35kbps - 45kbps)

IDEA: Maybe it's not "looking for faster servers", but change the way we "type the trick" (I know it sounds weird)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
live.vodafone.com.foxyn.com/cgi-bin/nph-get.cgi/00011A/http/
live.vodafone.com.anongoogle.com/cgi-bin/nph-get.cgi/000000a/http/
live.vodafone.com.scarewar.com/cgi-bin/nph-get.cgi/000110A/http/
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All of the above, are similar in the way they are written (cgi-bin/nph-get.cgi/000000A/http/)
And therefore we get similar speeds (35kbps-45kbps)

BUT...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
live.vodafone.com.t9space.com/power/s/http/
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...is written differently (i.e. No cgi-bin/np...)
and therefore we get higher speeds (60kbps)

Maybe we got something going on

Can someone build on this?

@ Leodusme

This is exactly the same thing I am thinking. All the CGI proxies (the slow ones) have a part that looks something like "/cgi-bin/nph-get.cgi" or "/nph-proxy.cgi/" etc. PHP or Glype proxies have things like "/index.sh/" in them.

I have found quite a few of these proxies but none of them work. It just loads for long and then gives the "communication error". So at the moment only the CGI proxies and T9space tricks work on Vodacom. Maybe one of these experts like Litemint, Cyborg, or Aqaured can help us, especially Aquared (he is like the master of free internet).

Here is some of the proxies that aren't CGI based, that I found on aquared's topic:

http://torproxy.net/index.sh/010110A/http/
http://flyproxy.com/nph-proxy.pl/010110A/http/
http://filterfixer.com/nph-index.php/000000A/http/
http://absurdistan.at/cgi/bmi/nph-servus.cgi/000001A/http/
http://www.bluetree.us/nph-google.cgi/000110A/http/

They also contain the word "cgi" but look different. I have tried all of them and none work unfortunately. This is just to get an idea of how others look. Also have a look at aquared's topic: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=183147

All we need is someone with more experience than us to help us out.

I think the their network is the problem n0t the cgi
to me when dot trick still works on our network i manage to download in a period of 1 hour no interruption, using anongoogle and gowingo, that is on my 2G phone only,

i think your network connection is the fault it's unstable connection that is why your download stop.

Nope, not the network connection. I use the CGI-trick, and get speeds of 45kb/s. I try to download without CGI-trick, with the same download, and get speeds of upto 300+ kb/s

anongoogle and gowingo give no interruption for me, only t9space gives the 30mb limit! (I've downloaded a 250mb file with anongoogle)

Thats about 70kb/s - What CGI are you using?

We can only get the CGI working, if we put our freesite as a part of the CGI (using the dot trick)

-Thanks
