I can not upload any file to Youtube over 100Mb. It says I can not upload any file over 1GB

Dont forget to add your phones MAC Number to your router settings in the allow filter box.When I first connected my X10 it wouldnt connect until I added my phones MAC number into the my routers settings found on the PC.

Guys don't beat me
Just got X10 from my carrier, and I will probably sell it (cheap )
But the question - to use Calendar I HAVE TO have Google account and log to it?!
When I try to open this it asks for that, no other option.

it syncs with google so i guess you will need it, and you will need a gmail for market and many other apps, its a google phone..

you don't need to use the gmail, just have an account. and it all will work just fine. i never uses it mail feature but i do sync my contacts and callandar just for safty. and to be able to use the market you must have a gmail to verify if you buy something.

I have turned all synching off to google. Prefer to keep my backups at home. Another issue I have cone across is if you swap sim card (going abroad) and don't have internet set up in that country, the calendar fail to find a connection and nothing is shown in the calendar. Remembero keep paper copies of your travel info Don't know if this is the case woth 2.1 but was definitely a letdown on 1.6. |

@doministry i know, i was in your position when i got the phone, but i had to surrender to be able to use it. it's the price we will have to pay... another acount again!
