Asia Pacific X10 users, did you notice that the Korean girl group the Wonder Girls appeared on the X10 of some sort?

I am all new to this Android phone thingy. Apologies if this sounds daft...how do I actually download the apps from AndroLib.com? There doesn't seem to be any link for download. Also, please can someone take me through the steps to install the apps, once downloaded, onto the phone. It isn't clear from the X10 user guide. Many thanks in advance.

Another question...

When I try to load Google map through the browser option, it just seems to get stuck whenever I try to zoom in on the map. The reason why I opt for the browser option is because I can't seem to find the option to switch to satellite view on the pre-installed map on the phone. Is this possible?

Yes it is possible. Just choose satellite view in the options menu under layers.

@fjcarlsson

Thanks for pointing out. I never knew more options were available by pressing the Menu button.

Just out curiosity, why it wouldn't work properly if you were to view the Google map through the browser option? It tends to get stuck and unable to zoom in etc.

Hi everyone!

Need some advice please? I have GMail and Calendar working perfectly in my X10 but my friend’s calendar does not synch to her own X10..

On the X10,

Settings – Data Synchronisation – Google mail is checked..

Then choose select sync application – Google sync,

Background data,
Auto synchronisation,
Calendar,
Contacts

Are all checked..

Select Calendar,

From menu select more – My calendars

Both UK holidays and name@googlemail.com

Are both checked.

All seems OK on the PC!

My idea is that when she set up the calendar and it asked Calendar to X10, X10 to calendar or bother directions, she maybe did something wrong there.

I cannot find those settings to change them!

Not sure if I delete the calendar from Google on the PC then add it again, if it would resolve the issue…

Or delete from the phone and reinstall that way.

I don't want to delete the google account from her phone because she added many calendar entries directly.

Any ideas most welcomed!!

@ofiach
It may be easiest for her to refash the phone and resync. she needn't enter your calendar entries again, you can share your calendar to her calendars view at calendar.google.com and choosing to edit the calendar settings for that particular calendar then sharing to your friends gmail address. Just make sure she backsup her contacts to sim or whatever as an extra precaution so there's more than one backup of them around.
I have a dig bick
You read that wrong
