W995a Wifi problems |

Ok I just got a w995a here in NZ. Its from Telecom but its unlocked to all other networks. Im currently on 2degrees which is the cool. The problem I have is the internet does not work with Wifi. When I turn on the Wifi and go to Tworld (or internet) and it automatically uses my mobile network instead of my wifi connection. Ive tried setting the wifi connection as high priority but still doesnt work. Also how do I use my wifi for streaming also? (i.e. youtube). Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! |

Hi, when you activate WiFi, do the connection work succesfully?... does the phone notify you that the connection to that certain router has been completed?
Do the wireless router you're trying to connect to, have a password?

Hi Lightspeed, yes it all is successful but when I go onto say Youtube, it wont stream but it will access it. Also the basic Internet icon (which is Tworld Telecom NZ) I click on that and it looks for the mobile network connection not the wifi, I have made the wifi a high priority but it still looks for the mobile network instead of Wifi. Do you think I need to debrand the phone? |

Thanks Jingboyx its worked.
sranjanm2002: All you do is when you get your connection through wifi, highlight your connection when you turn on wifi and then go to options and you should see it on normal priority, just change it to high. |
