Never mind all the things I said previously. That link for OM 5 mod didn't work but I got a working one.

I installed it and followed the steps exactly. After pressing OK it started installing but the suddenly said: "No working network connection detected".

Any other ideas?

EDIT: OK, I saw what I did wrong, I entered http://live.vod........ and not just live.vod........ at the custom server, So the http:// should not be there. Ok after fixing that it installed perfectly and after accepting the eula I could load any page I want (like BBC and wikipedia etc.).

BUT, it took away of my data bundle. Thus it was not free of charge. I double checked and I am TOTALLY sure when browsing the vodafone live website on my built in browser it doesn't take any of my data bundle. So in other words, can browse in OM 5 mod, but not for free.

Now what?

@Cyborg - As much as OM5.0b is still in beta. Its functionality in terms of advanced features such as tab browsing, Page Zooming, Advanced user interface, user-friendliness etc is beyond compare. I've been using it 4 almost a month now & hav experienced minor bugs.

I started from scratch.

Ok guys, Cyborg, krazyhax and msypours , thanks to sitnet. I found my mistake of not removing 'http' .

I can now browse live.vodafone.com FREE on my default browser, but not on my standard opera mini 4.2

Help...

@krazyhaxx - OK after I changed the protocol to http, I tried to load wikipedia and it didn't give any errors but it just kept loading for like 15mins.It doesn't do anything, it just keeps loading forever. I double checked all the settings and they are all right. BTW I am using a hsdpa 3.2mbps connection so it isnt that my connection is slow.

@Sitnet - Go to ur Application Manager> Open OperaMini 5 Options> Select Suite Settings> Set Network Access, Massaging, & App. Auto start and Multimedia to "Ask first time". Set Connectivity to "Always allowed" and Read/Edit user data to "Ask everytime"
Try OM again & c what happens.
