@Sitnet -> Glad u finally gotcha s@*t workin bro. Welcome 2 FBT my man!

What took you so long!
Anyway, if u want 2 dwnload large files incl. .exe, .zip, .rar, .pdf, etc... Use Bolt 1.5

Ka-Boom!

Thanx, I'm also very glad! About BOLT 1.5, why is it so slooow? It takes like 5 mins to load a 10kb page, where as OM 4.2 takes about 3 secs! But at least Bolt also works free I'm glad to say. In my bolt trick page I just put in the normal t9space front query, but I leave the rest blank. Should I put something in host? Or what else do you think can cause it to be so slow?

I'm having a lot of trouble with t9space. Bolt 1.5 barely works anymore, it doesn't want to open any website anymore, it just says that there is no internet connection.

What I need is front queries. My freesite is live.vodafone.com. As much as possible front queries will be appreciated.

EDIT: I changed my internet profile from vlive to internet.vodacom and now opera mini 4.2 handler dowmloads. But it stops at the last 20 kb and the say: error couldn't read from socket. When I download the same file in my normal browser through t9space it also stops at the last bit and then says network error. It doesn't matter how large the file is. Why does this happen?

Try using "http://live.vodafone.com@" as your front query!

Using live.vodafone.com@ as a front query has never worked for me before but now all of a sudden when I tried it in my default browser it worked! I think vodacom are slowly starting to block these tricks. Yesterday I could download using t9space and the vlive internet profile, but not today. After I changed my internet profile to internet.vodacom today I could download again but the download would stop at the last few KB's and the say "Network failure" in my default browser and "Error could not read from socket" in OM 4.2 handler.

When using live.vodafone.com@ as a front query it downloads a file but uses money. This is with both the internet.vodacom and vlive internet profile, but in my default browser (like I manually type it in before the download address). Havn't tried in OM 4.2 handler yet.

EDIT: tried in OM 4.2 but says invalid host name (when using http://live.vodafone.com@) and "error fetching file" (when using live.vodafone.com@ , thus without the Http://). When using www.vodacom4me.co.za@ in my default browser it costs money and also with www.vodacom4me.co.za.t9space.com/power/s/http/.

I've been using Opera Mini 2.06 all the while, and its still free...now and then it eats a few rands, but its okay. For R5 I was able to download over 200mb (which is worth R400) so I don't really mind. Its a small price to pay!

I just PM'd VANILLA_ICE the following and thought I could just as well post it here too, maybe someone can help. Here is my problem:

I can browse for free, but the downloading is where the problems start. Ok so when I am in Opera mini mod 4.2 handlerUI and click on a link to download a file it brings up that download window which asks you to "save" or "open" the file. If I do click save, one of two things usually happens:1) After about 5 mins it gives an error that it "failed to fetch the file" (like this: http://www.esato.com/board/img.php?id=135381 2) It downloads the file until the last few kilobytes then gives this error: "Error failed to read from socket". When I click "open", my normal browser comes up and it gives this error: "Communication error. Please contact you're service provider", or it downloads the file and at the end gives this error: "Network failure".

Furthermore if I manually copy the download link, exit OM 4.2, go to my default browser, go to enter address and enter the download link after this "live.vodafone.com.t9space.com/power/s/http/" the file usually downloads without any problems. Except if the file is larger that 20mb, then I get this error: "Network failure".

Ok so here are the screenshots of my settings and the errors:

Ok first of all, here is my internet profile settings (the settings on my phone):

http://www.esato.com/board/img.php?id=135378 and
http://www.esato.com/board/img.php?id=135377

Here are the settings I use in Opera mini 4.2 handlerUI:

http://www.esato.com/board/img.php?id=135380 and
http://www.esato.com/board/img.php?id=135379

Then I go to a website and try to download a mp3:

http://www.esato.com/board/img.php?id=135383

Then I click "save". Now this error I also get frequently. It instantly says download has completed but then the file is only 1KB large! :

http://www.esato.com/board/img.php?id=135382

Ok so then I go and click "open" and NOT "save". My default browser opens up and after about 1 min I get this error:

http://www.esato.com/board/img.php?id=135384

Ok so then I went and copied the whole link for the mp3 to my default browser manually:

http://www.esato.com/board/img.php?id=135385

Usually it works like this, but I guess I'm totally out of luck, after downloading a part of the file I get this error:

http://www.esato.com/board/img.php?id=135386

So that's all that I can say. The only thing that I think is that t9space is very faulty. I have tried a few other front queries but they all give the same errors as I just showed you.

Do you guys think you can help?

Ok I think I found the problem with my downloading issues. So when you put a front query in Opera mini mod 4.2, it takes the front query and letteraly just puts it in front of your download address, right, WRONG! That's what I thought too, but then I found out the truth. I went and connected my phone as a modem to my lapatop via usb. I then installed a java emulator (Java wireless toolkit) and put Opera mini 4.2 handler on my PC (the exact one on my phone too). Ok then I inserted all the settings (like in the post above) into OM 4.2 on my laptop. I then browsed a little and checked my balance and it was free. I then tried to download a file and when the download window came up I said "open". So it opened up Firefox and then started downloading the file, but just like on my phone it would stop at the last few Kb's. I then checked to see what the address was that OM 4.2 created. After the front query it puts this "/global-4-lvs-seele.opera-mini.net/hv08-14/30475/4/-1/" and only then the download address. If I take away that part it usually works. But I have also realised that sometimes it changes parts of the address as well, like the actuall download address. I think this is what is causing my problems but I am not sure though.

Ok, Im adamant to get this bloody thing to work since everyone here is already browsing for free.

Im willing to change my network!

Start from the beginning. Delete all internet settings. Delete all opera's. Now which opera should I download?

Please post a link to opera 4.2 mod and 5beta.

Which is better?
